RESEARCH AREA |

Located on the Mezzanine level is the Research area with the following
resources; Microfiche of N. S.W. and some Queensland Births, Deaths
and Marriages and microfilm of newspapers of the Clarence and Richmond
Examiner (1859-1950), the Daily Examiner (1915 -1989), the Argus and
Clarence River Advocates (1898-1908) plus a broken range of single issues.
Our Research Collection includes information on Family History (indexed card system for the Lower Clarence), Local History, Church History, Scottish & Irish History, cemetery records, attendance records, Minutes of various organisations, photographs, newspapers, newsletters, maps, genealogical literature from government departments as well as Local and Family Historical Societies/Groups.. Research fee per one family only is $25 (research, photocopy, postage & packing). Some families are more extensive than others and may incur a further fee. Please allow at least 3 weeks for completion of research. |
